These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the My Spirit Oasis website, booking forms, intake forms, communications, appointment scheduling, gift certificates, and services provided by My Spirit Oasis (“My Spirit Oasis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By visiting our website, booking an appointment, purchasing a gift certificate, submitting a form, opting in to communications, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or booking services.
1. Services Provided
My Spirit Oasis provides massage therapy, bodywork, and wellness-related services. Services may include therapeutic massage, prenatal massage, relaxation massage, custom massage sessions, wellness enhancements, and related client care services.
Services are designed to support relaxation, stress relief, general wellness, mobility, and client comfort. Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
My Spirit Oasis does not provide medical care, physical therapy, chiropractic care, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or medical diagnosis. You should consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns, injuries, chronic pain, pregnancy-related concerns, contraindications, medication questions, or other health conditions.
2. Eligibility to Use Services
By using our website or booking services, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years old, or you have permission from a parent or legal guardian
The information you provide is accurate and complete
You are booking services for yourself or have permission to book on behalf of another person
You will disclose relevant health, wellness, injury, pregnancy, medication, allergy, or contraindication information before receiving services
You agree to follow all policies, boundaries, and professional conduct expectations of My Spirit Oasis
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel appointments, or discontinue services when necessary for safety, professional, legal, or business reasons.
3. Booking Appointments
Appointments may be booked through our website, scheduling platform, phone, email, text message, or another approved booking method.
When booking an appointment, you may be asked to provide your name, contact information, service selection, appointment preferences, payment information, and intake details.
Your appointment is not guaranteed until it has been confirmed through our booking system or by My Spirit Oasis.
You are responsible for reviewing the appointment date, time, service type, location, cancellation policy, and any instructions provided in your confirmation message.
4. Intake Forms and Client Information
Before receiving services, you may be required to complete an intake form or answer intake questions. This may include information about:
Health history
Injuries
Surgeries
Allergies
Medications
Pregnancy
Pain or discomfort
Areas of concern
Pressure preferences
Areas to avoid
Contraindications
Emergency contact information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect your safety and the appropriateness of services.
My Spirit Oasis may decline, modify, or end a service if your intake information indicates that massage or bodywork may not be appropriate at that time.
5. Client Responsibility and Medical Disclaimer
Massage therapy and wellness services are complementary wellness services and are not a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You are responsible for consulting a licensed healthcare provider before receiving massage or bodywork if you have any medical concerns, including but not limited to:
Fever or contagious illness
Infection
Blood clots
Recent surgery
Recent injury
Cancer or active medical treatment
Heart condition
Pacemaker, stent, shunt, or implanted medical device
Pregnancy complications
High-risk pregnancy
Skin conditions
Unexplained pain
Severe inflammation
Neurological symptoms
Any condition for which your provider has advised caution
You agree to inform My Spirit Oasis before and during your session if anything changes, feels uncomfortable, painful, unsafe, or inappropriate.
6. Professional Boundaries and Conduct
My Spirit Oasis maintains a professional, therapeutic, and respectful environment.
Sexual, suggestive, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Any such behavior may result in immediate termination of the session, full payment being charged, refusal of future service, and, if appropriate, notification of law enforcement.
Draping will be used during massage services as appropriate. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Clients may undress only to their level of comfort.
Either the client or practitioner may end a session at any time if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or unable to continue.
7. Arrival Time and Late Arrival Policy
We request that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to have a drink of water, use the restroom if needed, and answer any verbal intake questions before your session begins.
We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late. If you are running late, please call or contact us as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.
In return, we will do our best to be on time. If we are unable to start your session on time, we will add time to your session when possible or adjust the service charge accordingly.
8. Cancellation Policy
We respectfully ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice for any schedule changes or cancellation requests.
When you cancel or miss your appointment without providing 48 hours notice, we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to your therapist and may prevent other clients from receiving services they need.
For this reason, late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged as follows:
50% of the service fee for the first missed session
100% of the service fee for each missed session after that
You are welcome to send someone else to take the place of your booked service to avoid a cancellation fee, as long as My Spirit Oasis is notified in advance and approves the change.
A client who has four or more late cancellations or reschedules made less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time within a 6-month period may be banned from booking future appointments with My Spirit Oasis.
9. No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend your appointment with no prior warning, you will be charged 100% of the missed service.
We understand that emergencies can arise and illness can occur at inconvenient times. If you have a fever, a known infection, an illness, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session.
Please do not risk your own safety or the safety of others by attending your appointment while sick.
Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of My Spirit Oasis.
10. Gift Certificate Policy
Cancellation and no-show policies also apply to appointments booked using gift certificates.
Any appointment booked to redeem a gift certificate that is late canceled or no-showed may automatically void the gift certificate or reduce the certificate value according to the applicable cancellation or no-show fee.
Gift certificates may not be redeemable for cash unless required by law.
Gift certificates must be presented, referenced, or verified at the time of booking or appointment.
My Spirit Oasis is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift certificates.
11. Payments, Fees, and Refunds
Payment may be required at the time of booking, at the time of service, or according to the payment terms provided during scheduling.
Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, cash, gift certificate, or other approved payment methods.
Prices, services, and availability are subject to change at any time without notice.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Completed services are generally non-refundable.
If a payment fails, is disputed, reversed, or declined, you remain responsible for any outstanding balance, cancellation fee, no-show fee, or applicable charge.
12. Packages, Promotions, and Special Offers
My Spirit Oasis may offer packages, discounts, promotions, or special offers from time to time.
Promotions may be subject to expiration dates, service limitations, availability, and specific terms stated at the time of the offer.
Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
My Spirit Oasis reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any promotion at any time.
13. Communication Consent
By providing your contact information, you agree that My Spirit Oasis may contact you regarding appointments, bookings, intake forms, scheduling, customer care, payments, policies, and services.

14. SMS/Text Message Terms
If you opt in to receive SMS/text messages from My Spirit Oasis, you agree to receive messages related to your appointments, services, customer care, scheduling, intake forms, wellness updates, and promotions depending on the consent you provide.

If a session is ended due to inappropriate conduct or violation of these Terms, the full service fee may still be charged.
22. Assumption of Risk
You understand that massage therapy and bodywork involve physical touch, pressure, movement, and manipulation of soft tissue.
While massage therapy is generally safe for many people, risks may include temporary soreness, tenderness, bruising, fatigue, emotional release, dizziness, lightheadedness, or aggravation of an existing condition.
You agree to communicate clearly before and during your session about your comfort level, pressure preferences, pain, sensitivity, boundaries, and any changes in your condition.
By receiving services, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with massage therapy and wellness services.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Spirit Oasis, its owner, practitioners, contractors, employees, agents, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the website, booking system, communications, or services.
Our total liability for any claim related to services will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.
